Education
Fatma studied Fiscal Economics and successfully obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance in 2003. To enrich her knowledge in international tax law, she followed her Master’s degree in International Business Taxation at the Economic Faculty of Tilburg University. She wrote her thesis on the effectiveness of hybrid mismatches of the Anti-Tax Avoidance Directive and thus obtained her master of science. She keeps her tax baggage up-to-date by taking courses and studying academic tax newspapers. However, she has ambitions to grow further and register as an aspiring member of the Dutch Order of Tax Advisors.
Career
Fatma has more than 15 years of experience in Accounting and Dutch corporate tax at, among others, Clavus and Medical X. In addition, she worked for a number of years at the Tax Office, in the tax compliance department.
